Biography: In 1965, Mr. Bell graduated cum laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics, majoring in Economics and received an R.O.T.C. commission as a 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Army (Infantry). After receiving his law degree at the University of Pennsylvania’s Law School, he participated in combat and intelligence operations during a tour of duty in the Republic of Vietnam. Since 1971, when he began the active practice of law, Mr. Bell gained considerable legal experience while at two well known Center City Philadelphia law firms. He joined the Firm in 2001. He has handled a broad spectrum of legal matters in areas of business transactions, employment law and benefits, ERISA, real estate and family business planning. He has developed an expertise in estate planning, estate and trust administration, elder law and the tax issues related to them. Mr. Bell prides himself in his thoroughness and attention to detail. Throughout his career, Mr. Bell has also been active in various local, legal and community organizations. He has provided legal counsel to the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Guild of Organist for over 30 years. He has co-chaired the well known and highly respected annual Philadelphia Bar Association Charity Run/Walk, benefiting abused and neglected children, for over 25 years. Mr. Bell has always been active in the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Probate and Trust Section, where he currently serves on its Executive Committee. |
